The location of Fox Hagg Farm is ideal for everyone with a variety of fantastic places to see and visit for all.
Walking , climbing , sight seeing, photography, wildlife interests are all on hand from the site itself. This is also a fantastic place for star gazing with fantastic visiblity on a clear night not spoilt by street lights. Maybe see the International Space Station fly past and maybe if you pick the right time catch a glimpse of The Northern Lights !
The site is in an ideal location for Sheffield city centre , where you will find an abundance of shops including the famous Meadowhall shopping centre.
The site is served by a few local shops including a Newsagent, Butchers, Fruit and Veg, Post Office and a couple of local supermarkets.

Sheffield is home to the very famous Crucible and Lyceum theaters as well as the Sheffield Arena, the City Hall and the O2 Academy where you are guaranteed to see some very famous music and sporting stars.
The city is the birth place of Sheffield FC who are the oldest football club in the world, again they are just a fifteen minute drive away. The city is also host to two professional football teams, Sheffield United who are the oldest United in the world and Sheffield Wednesday.
Step out of the city and there are some fantastic historical sites and places of interest to visit. A five minute drive away is the world famous Stannage Edge. Walk along it and watch the rock climbers attempting to reach the top and if you're not faint hearted, then have a go yourself !
In one direction you have the outstanding beauty of Bradfield Dale which has it's own local brewing company and a couple of fine hostelries serving fine foods and ales. Sit outside the The Old Horns Inn and take in the amazing scenery and catch a glimpse of The Dale Dike Dam which collapsed in 1864 with the loss of around 240 lives.
If you go in the opposite direction you can visit the renowned Chatsworth House or the beautiful Derbyshire villages of Bakewell , Matlock, Ashbourne and Tideswell amongst many others which are well worth taking the time to go and see. These villages are also very popular with cyclists and this is a great site to cycle from to reach these lovely villages.
If the active life is not your scene then on the other hand this is the perfect location for a good relaxing break from the fast lane and stress of work. There are a number of local pubs all serving food and they are within a short five minute drive from the site. The heartier ones amongst us may find a little walk to them appealing which depending on ability will take between 30/45 minutes to get to them.
There is a also the famous Hallamshire Golf Course which is just a few minutes drive away or if you fancy an easier course Sheffield is served by four municipal courses.
